The Jungle Home

There's a certain stillness that only comes with elevation. North of Galle, in Nakiyadeniya, the land rises into forest and tea-covered hills and the pace slows to meet it. Within this setting, a house sits on the ridge. A steep A-frame, glass gables open to the canopy above. Open-plan throughout, its walls slide away until the living space and the jungle read as one room. The floor opens onto to a deck, where a 23-metre infinity pool eases into the jungle, its edge dissolving into green.
